Emmanuel Coste

was born in 1953 and is a graduate of École Polytechnique (1972), Corps des Mines. From 1978 and 1982, he worked in regional and national government, particularly in the offices of the Research Ministry and Industry Ministry. He joined Sanofi in 1983, before setting up and turning round several companies from 1998 onwards. In 1992, he linked up with Hervé de Galbert to acquire CTN and Française de Palettes. He founded Qualis in 1996 alongside Hervé de Galbert and Robert Léon.


Hervé de Galbert

was born in 1955, and is a graduate of Institut Supérieur de Gestion. He began his career in operational control and management, first at Groupe Servier and then at Leroy Merlin, where he quickly became a member of the Executive Committee with extended responsibilities as HR Director and Regional Director. In 1992, together with Emmanuel Coste, he acquired CTN and Française de Palettes. He was a co-founder of Qualis in 1996.


Robert Léon

was born in 1949 and is a graduate of École Nationale d’Administration (1974). He has held several positions in the French government, particularly as Secretary-General of the Interministerial Committee for Industrial Restructuring. In 1986, he became CEO of the Arnault group. For 11 years, he was involved in building the world’s largest luxury goods group, carrying out numerous strategic acquisitions, disposals and financial transactions. In 1994, he joined forces with Emmanuel Coste and Hervé de Galbert to acquire Finon-Sofecome, and in 1996 co-founded Qualis.


Alain Cotte

was born in 1962 and is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers. Cotte began his career in 1988 as a consultant then manager at Bossard Consulting, a management consulting firm purchased by Gemini consulting. In 1993 he joined Finon Sofecome, bought a year later by Emmanuel Coste, Hervé de Galbert and Robert Léon.
