December 2010 - Saab’s new Command and Control training offering powered by MASA Group’s constructive simulation tool MASA Sword
Saab’s new Command and Control (C2) training offering will be powered by MASA’s Battle Command Constructive Simulation, MASA Sword. The Saab C2 Training solution will provide a bi-directional link between simulation and C2 based on intelligent behaviours and doctrines. This capability greatly reduces the need for simulation operators needed to drive command and staff training for exercises.

Amper Programas integrates MASA Group’s constructive simulation tool MASA Sword within their C2IS system (BMS – Battle Management System) for Course of Action Analysis.

October 2010 — MASA Group announces the release of SWORD v4.2 
MASA Group is proud to announce the release of SWORD v4.1, the latest version of its flagship constructive simulation for training Army and Security officers. SWORD is a light and portable simulation-based training solution for decision makers. It allows immersing them in modern battle environments to hone their tactical knowledge and to rehearse their techniques and procedures.

Ambient Performance (Lead), MASA Group and Coram UK are nearing completion of a 6 month response to a SBRI call from the Technology Strategy Board and the Highways Agency for Synthetic Environments in Managed Motorways to explore the use of synthetic environments applied to transport, in this case, modelling and managing complex traffic situations on motorways.

Munich-based Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG (KMW) has standardized on the MASA Life Form serious games development framework for immersive training.

MASA has completed the sale of its fully owned subsidiary BlueKaizen to ORTEC, the world leader in advanced planning and optimization solutions. BlueKaizen focuses on optimization software for waste management and the field services industry.
