Exalead today announced that SearchDataManagement.com has selected Exalead CloudView as the Gold Award winner in the Business Intelligence and Analytics category for its 2008 "Product of the Year" competition. The jury, composed by the SearchDataManagement.com editorial staff, in conjunction with a team of industry analysts and consultants, chose Exalead from a pool of more than 60 solutions.
GEFCO, a world reference in industrial logistics, won the « Business and Information World » CIO award in the Grand Prix category thanks to its new vehicle traceability service relying on Exalead CloudView. This software, critical for GEFCO’s activity and designed with ST Groupe, constitutes one of Exalead’s first major softwares SBA-type (Search Based Applications). PricewaterhouseCoopers France (PwC) selects exalead one:desktop and exalead one:enterprise solutions to offer the members of its staff a unified access to all of the organisation’s useful information.
Exalead announces the appointment of Paul Doscher who joins the management team as Chief Executive Officer for North America. March 2008 – Quaero consortium starts a five-year research and development program
Following the European Commission approval today, the Quaero consortium’s research and development program is set to receive 99 million euros aid from the French State, in line with the decision made by the former Agency for Industrial Innovation (Aii), now called OSEO that will handle the project. Consortium members will contribute an equivalent amount to reach an overall budget of approximately 200 million euros for innovative research projects.

François Bourdoncle has been rewarded for his work in designing and implementing the Exalead search platform, which is the first unified platform that combines simplicity with intelligence.
