August 2008 – Société Générale puts its trust in IEC
The Société Générale banking group has chosen IEC to equip its existing offices with visioconference systems and to manage the audiovisual facilities of the Granite tower, its new skyscraper in Paris la Défense.

August 2008 – Olympique Lyonnais for a TV on IP
OL Images, the subsidiary of the football club of Lyon (France), has chosen IEC to implement the deployment of the Omnifoot system developed by IpsoTV, with TV on IP. OL Images will be able to record 8 matches at the same time, and index all characterics of the matches (tracking of the players, of the referees, analysis of the teams’ strategies…).

August 2008 – “Upside Down” at Quai Branly
IEC will rent some audiovisual materials for the “Upside Down” exhibition at the Quai Branly museum in Paris. The exhibition, devoted on the Arctic, has been conceived by the American artist Doug Wheeler, pioneer of the “Light and Space” movement.

August 2008 –Screens and for Yahoo! France
Audiovisual facilites for Yahoo! France: screens for its control room, as well as for the waiting hall, the cafeteria and a training room. IEC will also install video projectors for four other training rooms.

August 2008 – Debate theatre in Lyon
IEC Lyon et Audio Equipement will equip the future debate theatre of the Rhône Alpes County Hall in France: a 300 posts conference system, speakers, video catching, automation, lightings…

July 2008 – The Ministry of Finance backs up IEC
Another IEC technician will be affected to the French Ministry of Finance, for its offices in Noisy. In Noisy, IEC will install video projectors in 367 rooms, fit the 250 seat theatre with a PA system and equip the conference room with 16 LCD screens, for the translator cabs. IEC will also improve the equipments of the Bercy offices in Paris.

June 2008 – The new headquarters of Henckel Technologies
IEC will equip the new headquarter of Henckel Technologies: in the board room will be installed a video projector (with a painted screen), a PA system and a visio conference system. Dynamic displays will be set up in the reception hall and the cafeteria. Satellite TV will also be distributed via IP in 6 rooms. Finally, a maintenance contract has been signed for the whole audiovisual installation.

June 2008 – IEC and French TV channels
IEC will upgade to HD the Final Cut stations of French public channel France 2 offices in Roma, London and Marseille (France). IEC will also manage the overhaul of one the local control rooms of the French public channel France 3.

May 2008 - IEC and football
IEC will provide the French Football Federation with an IP visio conference system for all leagues, ie 130 equipments. IEC will undertake hotline and maintenance for all sites.
The football club of Le Mans (France) has also chosen IEC to fit out its new headquarters: theatre, pressroom, clubhouse, with video projection, PA system and a recording system to watch the matches on VOD. IEC will carry out the maintenance.

April 2008 – The new city hall of Montpellier
IEC will carry out the equipment of the council room of the new city hall of Montpellier, which has been conceived by the French architect Jean Nouvel.

April 2008 – A winning return
IEC will procure France Télévision the postproduction means and servors, for the French public TV channels to cover Rolland Garros, the tennis French open.

April 2008 – New training rooms in Paris for Johnson & Johnson
IEC has worked with Johnson and Johnson Miami to set up the Paris training centre (with meeting rooms and conferences): screen, PA sstem, video conference, automation, etc.

March 2008 - Acquisition of Preview GM System
IEC strenghtens its broadcast offer with the acquisition of Preview GM System, a leader in TV Turnkey Systems and Engineering. Its vehicles are well known by the broadcast sector.

March 2008 - Technique et décoration
The Palais des Congrès of Megève has chosen IEC to refurbish the hangings, the PA system and to install a technical intercom system between the control room, the stage and the dressing rooms. IEC had previously equipped this exhibition centre with a lighting and PA system.

March 2008 - When Korea calls France to go to China…
IEC will supply KBS, the Korean TV, with numerous equipments for the Olymping Games in Beijing. An IEC technician will be on site.

April 2007 - IEC equips the Holiday Inn of Illkirch 

IEC will manage the complete renovation of and the arrangment of the new buildings of the Holiday Inn in of Strasbourg / Illkirch. Advanced technologies have been chosen: TV full IP with VoD in all the bedrooms, network of dynamic display for the reception rooms.
 
April 2007 - Equipment of PSA at Velizy
IEC will equip the new buildings of PSA at Velizy-Villacoublay (2,700 people on a total surface of 30,000 m²): 600 meeting rooms of 8 to 30 seats, a 250 seats conference room, and several communication rooms.
 
April 2007 - ‘Information démocratique’ at Clichy la Garenne
IEC managed the multi-media fitting of the council room of the town hall in Clichy la Garenne, with new audiovisual equipment. IEC has implemented its concept of ‘Information démocratique’ : the meetings of the town council can be seen on internet (live and archives). ‘Democratic Information’ make it possible for anyone in the world to assist live to the weddings.
 
April 2007 - Audiovisual equipment of Montpellier stadium. 
IEC continues the installation of the audio-visual equipment of the new ‘Yves du Manoir’ Stadium in Montpellier: sound system for the stands, for the boxes, the cloakrooms, as well for the reception rooms. IEC carries out the reception, the treatment and the distribution in the boxes of the national TV channels and the signal of the collecting of the matches. IEC also pilots the scenic lightings. 
 
Mars 2007 - IEC at the BNF, the French National Library
The small auditorium of the BNF will be refurbished by IEC, with the refection of the control room, woodwork, integration of the audiovisual material, lights, broadcasting. 

January 2007 - IEC in French Guiana
IEC opens a new establishment in French Guiana, with ca. 30 employees. For at least the next five years, IEC will manage all the audio-visual means of the Ariane launch base of Kourou, in partnership with Sarvis, a local company.

January 2007 - IEC launches IECTV, its corporate television
To follow and take part fully in the development of the new means of communication and audiovideo technologies, IEC launchs IECTV, its own internal broadcast network, a modern and powerful means of communication.

Décembre 2006 - IEC holds 100% of Cap Ciné
IEC has exercized the remainder of the agreement to sell Fin Cap had granted in 2003 on Cap Ciné shares. IEC thus holds 100 % of Cap Ciné.

September 2006 - The suit-case CNAM/IEC: a multi-media room portable
True virtual auditorium, the CNAM/IEC suitcase is made up of a laptop, a videoprojector, a turret camera, a wireless microphone, two loudspeakers and a set square that indicates where the projection is to be made. It will make it possible for the CNAM teachers to give their lessons via Internet. The student will visualize, wherever he be, the data of the lesson and all additional element given by the teacher during the lecture, and will be able to challenge the teacher by chat. This unique e-teaching suitcase will be marketed by IEC at the beginning of 2007.

September 2006 - IEC equips the county counsil of Pas de calais
IEC delivered the new hemicycle of Pas-de-Calais (county in the North of France). It is equipped with three screens 4m X 3m, with three Barco projectors, one hundred twenty seven stations of audio conference, and wiring for sound JBL. A Crestron automat controls the motorized curtains, the opening of the ceiling, the lighting of the room.

July 2006 - IEC takes control of Groupe HMS
The acquisition of Avest, the parent company of Groupe HMS, was completed on 25 July 2006. IEC Professionnel Media acquired a 50.1% stake and Fin Cap, IEC Professionnel Media’s leading shareholder, bought the other 49.9%. HMS is the world leader in the audiovisual integration of multimedia systems on cruise liners. Following the acquisition of Alsace Audio Visuel in the first quarter of 2006, this acquisition significantly strengthens IEC’s position in audiovisual services and engineering.

July 2006 - The Lucien Barrière group chooses IEC again for its Deauville hotel.
After equipping the prestigious Fouquet’s hotel in Paris, IEC will fit high-end audiovisual equipment in the 31 suites of the Royal Barrière de Deauville hotel.

June 2006 - IEC to acquire HMS
IEC has just signed a contract to acquire the HMS group, a major player in the audiovisual industry. HMS is leads the world market in the audiovisual integration of multimedia systems on cruise liners

May 2006 - IEC: another perspective on Cézanne
IEC’s R&D department took part in setting up the ‘Cézanne: Voir autrement’ temporary exhibition at Granet d’Aix museum in Provence. IEC followed up by installing 6 video projectors and 2 LCD screens in four different spaces.
The exhibition took place from 2 May to 31 December 2006 

May 2006 - IEC helps launch LOSCWebTN
The web TV channel of Lille’s LOSC football club LOSCWebTV is a novel information and communication medium, and is unique in French football. It is a Video On Demand module that is accessible exclusively on the internet via the club’s official LOSC.fr website. IEC has set up two AVID editing stations along with DVCAM and HDV filming units..

May 2006 - Balenciaga holds an exhibition with IEC
IEC Gennevilliers won the contract for the Balenciaga aux Arts Décoratifs temporary exhibition, held between 4 July 2006 and 5 January 2007 at the Musée de la Mode et du Textile. The designer’s collections will be shown to their best advantage using video technology, with five plasma screens and twenty video projectors.

April 2006 - Cannes Mandelieu agency open for business
IEC’s CEO Charles Humann opened the new agency in Cannes Mandelieu in a ceremony attended by Henry Leroy, Mayor of Mandelieu and Vice-Chairman of the Alpes Maritimes regional council, along with more than 200 customers.

April 2006 - Guillaume Durieux joins IEC
Guillaume Durieux has joined IEC as head of engineering and integration in France. He will be in charge of the R&D department, the systems team, the tendering unit and the Massy agency. He has been made a member of the Executive Committee. Mr Durieux is 36 years old, and is an engineer by training. For the last four years, he has been managing the Vinci group’s audiovisual entity Axians.

March 2006 - IEC controls 100% of Alsace Audio Visuel
In its 6 March 2006 meeting, IEC Professionnel Média’s Board of Directors noted the definitive transfer of 4,569 shares in Alsace Audio Visuel (around 56% of AAV’s capital) to the company, along with the increase in IEC’s share capital to pay for this transfer of shares, following the approval given by shareholders in the Extraordinary General Meeting held on the same day and the fulfilment of conditions precedent. This transfer of shares, along with the transfer of 3,599 AAV shares to SAS IEC (wholly-owned subsidiary of IEC Professionnel Média) also on 6 March 2006, means that the IEC group now owns 100% of AAV. This transaction strengthens the IEC group’s move into audiovisual services and engineering.

February 2006 - IEC organises the broadcast video trade fair in Algiers
Working with the Chambre Française de Commerce et d’Industrie Algérienne and the Mission Economique de l’Ambassade de France, IEC organised the broadcast video trade fair in Algiers on 4 and 5 February 2006.

February 2006 - IEC covers the Turin Winter Olympics
IEC’s service quality, responsiveness and professionalism enabled it to win the France Télévisions contract for the Turin Winter Olympics. The contract required more than 4 months of negotiations and 6 months of development. Video and audio equipment will be used mainly at the Sestriere and Turin sites.

January 2006 - IEC unveils its new identity
IEC, Europe’s leading audiovisual service provider, unveils its new identity. IEC-ASV’s Alain Cotte (chairman) and Charles Humann (CEO) and AAV’s Lucien Crevel (CEO) and Patrick Baderspach (sales director) have unveiled the new identity of IEC, Europe’s leading audiovisual service provider. They also presented the company’s new organisation, consisting of 17 agencies in France, 3 agencies in Spain, 85 relay points worldwide and 360 permanent staff in France. IEC defines its three missions as: ‘Imager, Équiper, Connecter’ (imaging, equipment and connections). IEC is now Europe’s leading audiovisual service provider, with sales likely to exceed €90 million, together with full coverage of its home market and a head start on leading-edge technologies due to its R&D department. December 2005 - IEC increases its capital to finance an ambitious development plan
IEC Professionnel Multimedia has announced a plan to acquire rival Alsace Audio Visuel. To carry out this acquisition, IEC is set to carry out two new share issues between now and late March 2006. The first will be a share issue for cash before the end of 2005, and the second a share issue for AAV shares.
