 Current position and outlook
IEC operates in a market in constant move. The emergence of high definition is a revolution in terms of comfort and image quality, and will result in the gradual replacement of all equipments over the entire chain of production (shooting, editing, broadcasting). Also, thanks to the spread of broadband, the video-conferencing tools are becoming more efficient. There are no need anymore for long and expensive journeys which, in troubled times, can be risky. This also meets the new requirements of sustainable development.
