Market position
Erard was set up in 1961, and is one of Europe’s leading players in TV equipment and accessories. It conceives, manufactures and commercializes more particularly:
- audiovideo integration systems: stands for audiovideo equipment
- audiovideo integration systems especially conceived for professionals, in particular hotel business, dynamic display and museography (through its Erard Pro subsidiary)
- reception systems: aerial accessories for receiving terrestrial and satellite TV signals
- connection systems (through its ITC subsidiary): wiring for audiovideo, computer and telephone equipments.
The company has an integrated production system that receives regular investment. As a result, Erard has vital in-house production expertise. It also has a unique commercial position, covering almost all segments in France: mass retail, specialist retail, independent resellers and collective groups. Erard products are also acknowledged for their high level of technical innovation..
Current position and outlook
Erard accompanies today the convergence of all the technological means around the image and the screen and organizes itself in order to propose tomorrow the piloting of the home audio-video leasure. In the field of audio-video equipment, Erard attempts to develop a wide range of “standard” or “tailor-made” permanently updated solutions.
